Last week Saturday we had a Sweet 16 practice and the word we had to do was success. The practice was really good because we had a chance to practice and also experience Sweet 16 and what's going to be like, the second and third year students in the class know but not the first year. My team is Broadcast. Also I am still on the PSA team but this time we need to create 2 PSA that is based on the topic that is given we decided to do it on losing weight and studying to get an A on a test. In Sweet 16 we have 16 hours to get our whole video done. Broadcast has a 10 minutes or less and now they put in a film team and so they have 5minutes to a video, film is a little different from Broadcast though.
To talk about my team the PSA group, I think our videos were humorous, and also the media class thought it was humorous also. The first on we did was studying to get an A on a test, in the beginning I didn't think it was funny but when I put the music in I guess it was funny, and Kaycee Nakashima was the teacher and Dalson Cua was the student who got an F and studying to get an A. Mr.M said the teacher was mean so I kind of laughed when he said that, and the second one we did it was losing weight. I thought that this PSA was funny because Kaycee was fat and a month later she is skinny and fit while I on the other hand got fat. We got people to laugh and so it was good and humorous.
Even though our team did good I think we need to fix some things, we need to work on stopping continuity, continuity is a big problem in the group and we need to be extra careful when we go up to Florida. Another thing we need to improve on is our shots to me this Sweet 16 practice there were some shots that weren't straight and some were a little shaky, we did go back and filmed and they weren't shaky and were straight but when we caught that it was raining and the library was loud since other people had to edit and film too. But that isn't an excuse I should've seen that happen earlier and fixed it right away. And the other thing we need to work on is audio levels, the 2 PSA's need to have the same audio level so we need to be careful of that also when we go up.
I can help improve my team if we work hard and do everything right also not switch jobs when we are in Florida. I can also help if my team is fooling around i need to tell them to get serious because the sweet 16 is serious, and also get things done faster and better. And last better teamwork, I have to help my team when they need help, help them when they are trying to do something. We all need teamwork because CKTV Ohana right.
And in Conclusion, I thought this Sweet 16 practice was good, but we need to work on stuff but we can do it if we try our best, stay seriousb
